Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo who is from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was created at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both scholars. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother working and going to play rehearsals. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials as a young child. She earned a Bachelors in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she was introduced to in Los Angeles at an Actors training. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. After she had converted to Judaism the couple were married again in a Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk's television work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale, and revealed this to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she's ready to go back to work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its popularity on social media has earned it a large internet following.
